FUN, FUN, FUN
We have made plans to go to the zoo tomorrow and then go to Holiday Word next Saturday or Sunday. I figure that we should get in a few fun things with my son before starting treatment seeing as how summer break is coming up. We haven't ever been to Holiday World and it sounds really exciting. We will be going with my sister her husband and son.

Hi Beth, I read somewhere that the new arms will both deal in reduced doses of 504034 as some people are getting very nauseated from it and they want to test the effacacy at lower dosages. Might be a rumor, consider the source,lol
Have fun at the zoo! BTW, I'll bet you anything that you'll still be able to go after starting treatment. I took Em starting wk 3 and was only a bit tired. No problem.
And re the 2 arms, my dr. said that it was only to add more people to the study. The study filled up and they wanted to add more to look at the sides of the boceprevir - in order to add more peeps, they had to add 2 more arms.
I did have to sign a revised consent that seemed to confirm this. It was basically same consent but with the totals changed to reflect that the amt of participants had risen.
